Three Phase Faulted Circuit Indicator Products


EC-31


A three phase, cable mounted unit with remote indicator, designed for use on insulated cable. The sensors use the standard bails, and the necessary tie wraps are included. Unit will only reset when the current in each of the three sensors exceeds the reset current. The optional viewing kit provides easy field installation in a transformer housing. EC-33


The EC-33 line powered FCI is designed for faulted circuit location in industrial and commercial three phase feeder circuits. The unit features a rugged sealed design for a URD installation, and is provided with a viewing kit for cabinet mounting. The fault indicators for each phase are mounted on a single meter face, and the remote sensors attach with Edison Controls' easy mounting pull over bail or with a screw type mounting for hot stick application.

To prevent false reset from back feed a 7.5 minute reset delay is built in and the unit is provided with a 30 second inrush restraint to allow the use of standard reclosers. A factory adjustable trip level of 200 to 1000 Amps offer application flexibility. The unit has a twenty year service life.



EC-35


The EC-35 is a three-phase unit with remote indicator designed for use on insulated cable. The unit has a unique pull over bail, self-mounting sensor and will only reset when the current in each of the three sensors exceeds the reset current. EC-35 can be installed using insulated gloves, if safety rules permit. The optional mounting kit provides easy field installation in a transformer housing (Order optional universal mounting kit # KT-5000.)
